kinh.architects was asked to design a performance center in 798 art district housing several functions, amongst them a restaurant, a theater for 400 people and the performance stage. In order to obtain a striking architecture according to the clients wish from the design and its execution, architectural conceptional strategies were traced, for exampel by thinking the building as a solid body. The building's envelope is a skin consisting of trapezoidal windows, which turns on the roof side to roof windows, providing the stage with natural lights. kinh.architects work out the schmatic design with the design development.
