The project is located in the main city of the province inner mongolia,china. The scope of work is to design a commercial, apartment and office building for the xin hua new city, which is also developt by the same client. The request of the client was to have a
4 storey high podium with commercial function and two towers, which house offices and apartments.The main concept is to work with three
volumes. By deviding it into three boxes kinh.architects creates a proportional shape with three funtions. The middle volumes links both the office and apartment towers together. The functional concept follows mainly a clear idea using the 4 level high podium as commercial and the apartment tower to the south for the apartments
, while the office tower is located in the north. The elevation is twofolded, the tower with the apartments and the office functions
has a strict and seriouse design, whereas the middle volumes use glas facade, which devides visually the two towers.
