The restaurant is located on the peninsula of huludao. Due to its location on the highest point of the area the building's shape and function are already determined. The concept follows the idea to extent the public street into the main entrance platform for the restaurant, serving also as a sightseeing spot. The rounded shape of the building provides ocean vistas from every corner of the building's interior. Stone facade material were choosen for their durability in this coastal enviroment. kinh.architects provide the schematic and conceptional work in cooperation with Prof. HuJie from the Qinghua University Landscape department.
