kinh.architects proposal for this mix function project is the result of different consideration, which includes the location, the buisness target and the architectural ambition of the client. Main element is the 4 level high commercial platform linking the other functions like office, apartment and hotel together. As a landmark for this plot the hotel tower, which will raise to 160m, is place at the prominante place in the south west corner, where it will be see from the city center. The plaza underneath the hotel will be use both as the hotel and commercial entrance and a public square. Apartment Towers seats on the east side, in opposite to the noisy street, more towards the residential area. The main target is to provide the schematic design for the government approval at the end of 2011, following the design development in 2012. kinh.architects deliver schematic and design development and is part of the construction documents phase working together with Demaine office and the China IPPR International Engineering Corp.
